Year 3 visit The Compton Centre Library

Yesterday Eagles visited the library at The Compton Centre up the road.

There the librarian read them some cool stories and even let them shout ‘THERE’S A SHARK IN THE PARK!”

Afterwards she told them all about the different books in the library and how to find the one you want.

Every child got to choose a book to take back to class. Some were so excited to start reading they found a place to sit and started their books.

Some children really made themselves comfortable!

It was a very fun day and we can’t wait to read our books as a class.

The books in the library can be read by anyone, all you need to do is get a free breeze card. This allows you to take up to 20 books home. You can also use their computers and other resources all for free! For more information, visit the Compton Centre’s website.
