Easter Egg Decorating competition
This year we are running a egg decorating competition. We will have two categories
1)Independent - This must be done by the child independently without adult support
2) Family entry - This can be done with an adult or family member.
Each class will have a winner from each category and the winning will receive a chocolate easter egg. Additionally any child who enters will receive a cadbury’s cream egg.
Entries need to be brought to school between Monday 25th and Tuesday 26th March. Judging will take place on Wednesday 27th March.
Here are a few ideas to get you started.
Parents Evening
Thank you to all the parents who joined us for parents evening. We really enjoyed talking to you all and it was great to see so many parents. We hope you enjoyed the new format in the hall but we would welcome any feedback you may have.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION (PARENT SURVEY)
Our team at Co-op Academy Nightingale is gearing up for a new survey in which we'll be giving you the opportunity to express your opinion on parent and carer engagement at Co-op Academies Trust and your overall confidence in the school’s strategy. Our goal is to open up a communication channel where your voice is heard and organised in such a way that we can create the best learning environment for your child. To help us with this, we're working together with the Edurio survey platform. To complete the survey, please click here: edurio.com/poll/V0EZn7
Surveys are completely anonymous and confidential, though the responses will be aggregated for the purpose of analysis. Please note that the survey needs to be completed in one sitting. The survey will be available until the 8th March. The survey should take no more than 15 minutes to complete. Your opinion and honesty are much appreciated. If you have any questions or concerns please be in touch.
We look forward to your feedback
World Book Day
We will be celebrating world book day on the Friday 8th March this year. We have taken feedback from parents who have told us they would like to go back to allowing children to dress up as any book character rather than have a themed / colour day. We also appreciate that for some families making or buying costumes can be time consuming or costly so feel free to use one of the below ideas as a starting point.
Comic Relief
For Comic relief we will be holding a non uniform day. This will be on Friday 15th March. We ask that in return for not wearing school uniform that all pupils where possible make a small donation of 50p. Donations can be handed to the class teacher on the day
Year 6 high school place
You should have received your child’s high school on Friday. If you have any questions about this, please contact the office, who can offer you any support you may need.
