Nightingale celebrated World Book Day on Thursday, 6th March. Children were invited to dress up as a word of their choosing, such as sleepy, or happy. We had a great day completing fun activities all about reading our favourite books and writing wonderful stories.

Message from EYFS:

Reception loved taking part in this year's World Books Day.  We all dressed up as a word and read lots of books.  We use a story basket in reception to retell our favourite stories.  We are currently reading 'The three little pigs' and enjoy using the props and characters to help us with our story.  Our favourite part of the day is story time and we enjoy choosing which story to listen to each afternoon.
