On Thursday 23rd January, Reception were very excited to welcome their parents to a 'stay and play' session.  Children and parents alike were eager to see the lovely classroom we have created and look at the work we have done.  We showed them how to weave using coloured paper and how to make a penguin, showing off our wonderful scissor skills.  We explained to our parents that we were learning about the Arctic and Polar animals in our topic and project lessons and we showed them that we can find a mass and capacity of an object in maths.  It was a lovely morning and we are looking forward to the next one!
