#WakeupWednesday

Today is our ‘Wake up Wednesday’. Every Wednesday we’ll share new information related to staying safe online.

This week’s topic focuses on Facebook Messenger and what parents and carers need to know to ensure their children stay safe when using this very popular app. This includes information on live streaming, cyberbullying and it’s addictive nature.

“If the Facebook profile which accompanies their Messenger App is set to public, there’s a possibility that young people will receive message requests from individuals they don’t know.”
