#WakeupWednesday

Today is our ‘Wake up Wednesday’. Every Wednesday we’ll share new information related to staying safe online.

This week’s topic focuses on ‘Spotting Ads on Social Media’. This supports parents and carers in identifying ads on social media networks that are trying to lead children to potentially inappropriate websites or selling products without the consumers knowledge.

“Some ads look just like any other post – they might be funny or cool, but really they’re trying to sell you something without you realising.”
